    Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has been awarded the Honorary Life Membership of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at the Lord’s.

    Honorary Life Membership of the MCC is awarded to some of the finest cricketers and men and women associated with the game, and with Razzaq included, now four players from Pakistan have been awarded the Honorary Lifetime Membership in the past 12 months, others being, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan.

    Razzaq played in all the three formats for Pakistan, as was known for his devastating batting lower-down the order. Razzaq played 46 Tests and 265 ODI’s for Pakistan and was known for his all-round performance. He has three Test and ODI hundreds to his name along with 100 Test 269 ODI wickets.

    Razzaq was an integral part of Pakistani side which won the ICC Twenty20 World Cup in 2009 with the final played at Lords. Razzaq was unable to get his name on the Lord’s Honors Board during his playing days. However, he did manage to score a 53 at Lords in 2001.

    Razzaq played his last international match against New Zealand in 2013 but continued playing on the domestic circuit. Razzaq eventually called it quit in 2016.
