MS Dhoni is one of the most beloved cricketers in India and around the world. Even Bollywood celebrities are huge fans of him and his style of play. Coming from a small town like Ranchi, Dhoni has achieved enormous success for a boy coming from such a city. Since becoming a cricketer, Dhoni and Bollywood have gone hand and hand. Even a biopic has been made on MS Dhoni’s journey from being a ticket collector to a World Cup winning Indian captain.

Sushant Singh Rajput played MS Dhoni’s character in the movie, and Anupam Kher played his father’s role. On October 3rd, MS Dhoni invited his “on-screen father” to his home who was in his hometown to promote his new film “Ranchi Diaries”. Kher tweeted a picture of him sitting with MSD and his real father, and he wrote, “Dear #Sakshi & @msdhoni!! Thank you for your warmth & hospitality. Loved ur new home. Meeting parents is always a blessing. #RanchiDiaries”

He then posted another picture with Dhoni on Twitter, where he wrote, “#Sakshi & @msdhoni’s daughter #Ziva is a genius & an entertainer. She can really sing loudly, including our #NationalAnthem. God bless her.”

Kher’s movie released on Friday and Dhoni wished the team of the film good luck and encouraged the people to watch the movie in one of Kher’s Tweet on Friday. Kher wrote in the caption, “Dearest @msdhoni!! You are really one of the coolest guys I have ever met. Thank you for wishing our film #RanchiDiaries “Good Luck.”

MS Dhoni is currently playing in the three-match T20 series against Australia which is currently tied 1-1 with the last match to play in Hyderabad. The match is currently in doubt due to wet outfield and rain.
