• After a disappointing ODI series and a below-par performance in the opening T20I, Australia stands with a realistic chance of ending their otherwise frustrating tour of India with a T20 series win. David Warner who has a huge fan base in India due to his connection with the Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL will be looking to end the tour on a high and give Virat Kohli and Co a tough fight in the decisive encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad tomorrow.

While India won the rain-curtailed opening T20I in Ranchi by nine wickets, Australia was at their dominating best in the 2nd T20I winning the encounter by eight wickets. The bowlers did a fantastic job for the team by restricting the hosts to a meagre 118 in 20 overs, and during the 2nd part of the match, it was Moises Henriques, and Travis Head who shared an unbeaten 109 runs stand to help the visitors level the series.

While the decisive encounter is expected to be a humdinger at Hyderabad, there are chances of rain in the city which might play spoilsport in the team’s venture to press for a series victory. There are possibilities of rain all through the day. While the match will be starting at 7 pm, there are 40% chances of rain from 1 pm to 6 pm.

The possibility of rain goes down to 34% by 7 pm but increases to 37% by 9 pm. At 10 and 11, the possibility of showers rises the maximum with 47% and 51% respectively. With the final match expected to be a closely fought contest, the fans and spectators will be hoping that the rain gods stay away from the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad tomorrow.

Both teams are expected to field the same XI. While there are chances of KL Rahul’s return, the team management might decide against it given he hasn’t got enough match practice off late. He was batting well in the nets and was smashing the ball all around. He was set an imaginary target of 34 in 3 overs, and he completed that with a single in the final delivery.
