• Prominent figure from gentleman’s game Yuvraj Singh, who has played his last five-day match against England in 2012, has taken a cheeky dig at fit-again KL Rahul, who is raring to go, as the explosive left-handed batsman from Punjab stated one is bound to accept the words from the captain itself after Rahul tweeted his photos with captain Virat Kohli, a day after India clinch a remarkable win over Rangana Herath-led Sri Lanka, as both were in a good mood to enjoy the party time.

    The opening batsman Rahul, who could be seen posing for a selfie while soaking up the sun alongside Kohli in Sri Lanka on the day which could have been officially the fifth day of the first Test at Galle International Stadium after India steamrolled hosts on the fourth day – to claim the biggest overseas win by 304, in terms of runs.

    The 25-year-old Karnataka-born batsman missed the first Test owing to the flu, as he was seen flaunting his muscular body alongside Kohli whilst enjoying the day-off and relaxing by the pool side, before the photographs on Twitter entertained their fans.

    The 36-year-old Yuvraj who has been the vital cog in the wheel for India particularly in One-day International, while tweeting from his twitter handle expressed the members of the unit have no other choice to opt when skipper himself sets up a challenge for what the teammates are supposed to agree upon.

    The wicketkeeper batsman, who has featured in 17 Tests to score 1200 runs at an average of 44.44 in 28 innings, in his subtle response to Yuvraj agreed while stating he’s ready for the selfie challenge while showing the sign of victory.

    Rahul, who has been in prolific form in the recent past, has already smashed four hundreds and seven fifties, as he is expected to replace Abhinav Mukund in the second Test of the three-match Test series which is scheduled from August three in Colombo.

    The 35-year-old Yuvraj has featured in 40 Tests for India which saw him amassing 1,900 runs at an average of 33.92. He managed to register three hundreds and 11 fifties.
