Yuvraj Singh caught the attention of the fans during the 2nd ODI at Trinidad after he turned up wearing his Champions Trophy 2017 jersey. Yuvi could make any noteworthy contribution but briefly trended on Twitter for his mistake. He managed just 14 runs from 16 balls before losing his wicket to Jason Holder.

The veteran all-rounder has been under a lot of scrutinies as some of his recent outings have only resulted in mediocre performances. His only memorable performance in recent weeks came against Pakistan in the Champions Trophy opener at Edgbaston where he hit a quick half-century.

Since then, the 35-year old left-handed batsman, who recently completed his 300th ODI match, has only managed a string of poor scores – 7 (vs Sri Lanka), 23 not out (vs South Africa), 22 (vs Pakistan in the CT final) and 4 (1st ODI vs WI) apart from the 14 in the 2nd ODI.

Critics and some former cricketers have also questioned his place in the team. Some good performances in the upcoming games should help him gain come confidence and give reason to the selectors to keep his place intact in the team.

India grabbed a massive 105-run win over West Indies in the second ODI on Sunday in a rain affected game. A century from Ajinkya Rahane and solid fifties from Ajinkya Rahane and skipper Virat Kohli along with an impressive bowling show from Kuldeep Yadav sealed the game for India.

The visitors are leading the five-match ODI series 1-0 after two matches. The opening match, played at the same venue, was washed out by rains completely. The Men in Blue are also scheduled to play one T20I as well.

Meanwhile, Team India spent some good time at Dwayne Bravo’s residence after the victory.

He also shared a photo of himself with former IPL skipper MS Dhoni and daughter Ziva on his Instagram with the caption:

“It was great to have my brother from another Mother at my house last night along with his beautiful daughter an my mom #champion #djbravo #Family”

Shikhar Dhawan also tweeted a photo of himself with Bravo, Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane.
