    Timo Werner (Germany, RB Leipzig):

Germany have one of the most star-studded squads, not just in this competition, but even when compared to the best teams in Europe. However, they have always lacked a genuine striker after Miroslav Klose called it quits a year ago. Alexis Sanchez (Chile, Arsenal):

Arguably the most effective player in the final third in the recent Premier League season, Alexis Sanchez, is the only player from the Premier League who makes this list. With a stellar season for Arsenal, that could not help them to a place in the Champions League, Sanchez will be determined to find some retribution in this competition and will hope to continue his winning run with Chile. Sanchez has helped the country to back to back Copa America trophies and if he can replicate his form from the domestic season, he will surely be a player to watch out for in this tournament.

He was voted the player of the tournament in Africa and after his decent outings in China, is expected to sparkle yet again in this international tournament.
