Mr Sandeep Trehan, COO, Karma Lakelands, proudly said,

“We are happy to be the venue partner of The Expat Cup today and in-fact this is the first time we have hosted this event and we are thrilled as the community is happy as whosoever has played at our Golf club have really appreciated the course. According to them, the greens are phenomenal and the overall experience is ‘A-Class’. The best thing is that people have started comparing us with the best of the courses in Delhi NCR with an assurance that they will come back again to Karma Lakelands, week-on-week basis”.

When asked about the Expat Cup Tournament taking place for the first time at Karma Lakelands,

Mr Ashwani Khurana, President of Karma Lakelands, said,

“While we have had a lot of Corporate events at Karma Lakelands, this is the first time that we are having the Expat Cup. Very recently Karma Lakelands was honoured the most eco-friendly golf course award. The course is unique in so many ways as the experiences it offers are: high-quality traditional golf without the old-fashioned stringent rule of dress code. While traditional golf etiquette is expected, the clothing and footwear is much more relaxed for e.g. it is not compulsory to wear a collared T-shirt tucked in and we encourage golfers to have a non-golfing companion walk along, if they want to”.

Karma Lakelands is an eco-friendly luxury Golf Resort spread close to 300 acres and located just 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city at Sector 80, Gurugram. Karma Lakelands is a brand with a cause that believes in ‘Responsible Living’ and is renowned for its world-class services and facilities. In the past 20 years, over 200,000 trees and plants have been planted and nurtured within the property.

With an award-winning 9-hole boutique golf course, Karma Lakelands has a luxury KLUB Karma offering a Grand Ball Room, Conference & Boardrooms, indoor and outdoor Swimming Pools, Jacuzzi, Isha room for meditation etc. and is supported by all the sports, F&B and event facilities. Karma Lakelands is a destination for high-end wedding functions, events, parties, celebrations, corporate conferences, training, seminars, off-sites, weekend getaways and can accommodate from 10 to a thousand people. Along with all the amenities, Karma Lakelands has Karma Chalets, which is an intimate Boutique Hotel offering short and long stays. Karma Lakelands also has an already existing community of happy residents in their Luxury Villas, replete with ultra-modern amenities and breathtaking views.

Mr Suman Billa, Joint Secretary of Govt. Of India, Ministry Of Tourism and one of the golfers at EXPAT CUP said,

“This was my first time at Karma Lakeland’s course. I was always under the impression that this is a small course but I was pleasantly surprised that except a couple of holes, which are short, most of them are actually long and it’s a full golf playing experience. I am especially impressed by the way the course is maintained and I guess the roughs are beautifully kept, I think it’s just the right level that they need to be. It was a fantastic experience to play golf today. The facilities are modern and newly built for the international expats. Very happy that we have such facility in India and we hope more and more people make use of this facility”.
