The Bengal Warriors are packed with some of the finest talents in India and from the international circuit, with the likes of Jang Kun Lee and Surjeeet Singh, they have been good but couldn’t able to deliver the results that were expected out of the star-studded lineup they’ve had.
Four new teams will now be battling this time around in the franchise based Kabaddi tournament. Bengal Warriors has failed to even qualify for the semi final in the past four seasons and they will be rearing to turn things around this time. Surjeet Singh will be leading the side from Bengal in the upcoming season.
In the raiding department, Korean star, Lee will be accompanied by the highly experienced duo of Manindar Singh and Wazir Singh, whereas, the defence is something where they need to lift up their game if the side is to make a mark in this year’s Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.
The last season for Bengal Warriors was nothing short of a nightmare, as the team finished last on the points table. The owners have been patient and it is now the time for the team to fulfil the faith that is being shown in by the bosses.
