The Delhi-based franchise is yet to get their hands on the title having competed in the competition in past four seasons, Dabang Delhi failed to deliver to their potential.
Iranian all-rounder Meraj Sheykh will be the player to watch out for, as he was the main reason behind India’s lone loss at the Kabaddi World Cup earlier this year. He can attack and defend and is an asset which every team would love to have.
The strength of the Delhi-based franchise is their Iranian foreign star and captain Meraj Sheykh. But he has also been their weakness, as the Dabang Delhi rely heavily on Sheykh to deliver but the superstar lacks the support of his teammates which is the reason why Dabang Delhi are still searching for their first title win.
However, the attacking setup has been loaded up this time with some youngsters like Suraj Desai, Ravi Dalal, and Rohit Baliyan.
Dabang Delhi has so far played 56 matches in Pro Kabaddi League but only managed to win 14 matches whereas have gone down 38 times. After finishing seventh in the last season, Delhi will have to find some answers before the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League 2017 gets under way.
