Uttar Pradesh will make a debut in the Pro Kabaddi League’s fifth season, as one of the four new franchises, who will feature in the tournament. The team owners, GMR, have a fair share of experience in the franchise world, as they are also the proud owners of a cricket team in Indian Premier League, the Delhi Daredevils.
They already made the highlights, when in the auction, the UP side roped in the biggest bid of the season and bought Nitin Tomar as their raider for 93 lakhs.
The franchise from UP has one of the best all-rounders, Rajesh Narwal, on their side but lacks heavily in the defensive department.
They will be looking forward to a successful campaign in their debut season in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.
