From the very beginning of the announcement for WWE Live in India, there have been some major modifications in the show. Numerous superstars were added later in a try to make the show a grand one. This changed the match card of the show for some occasions. The latest announcement came as a shocker since the first day of the WWE Live in India has been called off.
Via a press release, the biggest pro-wrestling promotion in the world let us know that two separate shows will not be hosted, this time around. Rather, the second day will be the only day where the public can see the superstars performing.
As per the previous schedule, two separate nights were announced on December 8th and 9th. For now, only on the 9th December, we will get to see a ‘supershow’ where both Raw and Smackdown superstars will compete in a co-branded show, perhaps. More on this tagline will be available in the future.
Jinder Mahal is still the marquee attraction for this event. His first-day match with Kevin Owens has been withdrawn. The main event of the WWE Live in India will now be the match between The Modern-day Maharaja and The Cerebral Assassin of the WWE, Triple H. This is going to be a classic bout.
Check out the official press release from WWE,
“WWE and Sony Pictures Networks India today announced that WWE Live in India at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium will now feature one “Supershow” on Saturday, December 9, including the return of WWE Superstar Triple H™ vs. “The Modern-Day Maharaja”, Jinder Mahal™, in the main event.”
“To meet the requests of WWE fans in India, and deliver the biggest main event in the country’s history, WWE is combining two nights of family-friendly action into a one-night-only, exclusive Supershow.”
In the words of #TheGame himself, THIS is the biggest match in #India‘s history!@TripleH will go up against the #ModernDayMaharaja @JinderMahal!
The question is…ARE YOU READY?

There has been another change to the match card as Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftar, the two NXT superstars will be seen competing on Day 2. They will be seen teaming up against the three members of the Miz-tourage.
The primary reason for cancelling the first day of the show is supposed to be the cost-cutting issues in the WWE, nowadays. The company might not be satisfied with the revenue generated from this tour with lower ticket prices in comparison to the USA. However, the fans will get to see a lifetime opportunity to see Triple H in action.
